Fisher swaps business suit for race suit in Beijing

License Dashboard Sales & Marketing Director heads to Age Group Triathlon World Championships

5 September 2011: License Dashboard, the leading developer of license management and Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions in the UK, is today packing its sales and marketing director, Matt Fisher, off to China. But instead of opening up a new market for the industry-leading software, Fisher is swapping his business suit for a Great Britain race suit as he represents the country at the upcoming Triathlon Age Group World Championships in Beijing.

Having taken up the sport of triathlon from a standing start in 2010, Fisher qualified for the Great Britain Age Group team earlier this year and is now joining fellow amateur athletes from all corners of the world for the sprint and Olympic-distance championships in China. As an Olympic-distance athlete, Fisher will swim 1,500 metres, cycle 40 kilometres and then run 10 kilometres on Sunday 11th September.

Fisher commented: "It's a real honour to represent both Great Britain and License Dashboard on the world stage. I love both the physical and mental challenges that triathlon brings and believe that the intense training also brings benefits to my business life."

Sean Robinson, director of License Dashboard, added: "All of us at License Dashboard are totally behind Matt as we wish him the best in China. His dedication to his training and racing is an inspiration to us all and we are very proud to support him in his efforts."

As a principal sponsor of Fisher, License Dashboard has been critical in enabling Fisher to make his way to Beijing for the world championships. Fisher is also sponsored by Swindon-based triathlon store, The Big Adventure Store and online sports nutrition specialists, Zelusi.com.
