Simon Vessey, Licence Dashboard’s Business Development Manager, recently rose to a different challenge

Simon can normally be seen travelling around the UK visiting customers and explaining how Licence Dashboard’s award winning Software Asset Management (SAM) products can help clients save money and manage their software compliancy but, on 10th June 2010, along with a group of friends, he completed the 3 UK Mountain Peak Challenge in 23 hours and 30 minutes.

Simon explained that the walking distance was around 25 miles, the height climbed, around 10,000 feet, and the distance covered between the mountains was some 450 miles. The Three Peaks were:

  • Ben Nevis – Scotland: 1,344 metres
  • Scafell Pike – England: 978 metres
  • Snowdon – Wales: 1,085 metres

Simon managed to personally raise close to £700 and his team are on track to raise £15,000 for Cancer Research UK Ltd.

It's not too late to support Simon - every penny raised, including the contribution from the Government through Gift Aid, will go to Cancer Research in the UK. www.justgiving.com/simonvessey
